Rio staff were advised by Willam Gray that the company was no longer promoting or offering voucher sales on the 2nd of July 2008.
The company detected that vouchers had been misappropriated, this was the primary reason for their withdrawal. William Gray contacted several parties throughout his visit to the UK in 2008 to ensure that customers who had purchased vouchers were made aware that the date of expiry was approaching.
On the 23rd of March 2009, to ensure that all customers who purchased vouchers were aware that the redemption period was coming to an end the text below was posted. This was extended for an additional month until the 23rd of April 2009.
How to redeem a voucher
Customers wishing to redeem a voucher purchased from Rio Prestige should send their voucher by post with details of your requested product or service and proof of payment.
Rio Prestige will process your voucher redemption request within 3 - 5 working days.
Please note that we strongly advise customers wishing to redeem vouchers within the holiday season to submit their voucher and requests to Rio Prestige well in advance to avoid disappointment at these busy times.
Rio Prestige Voucher Terms and Conditions
Vouchers are valid from a period of 18 months from the purchase date. There are no exceptions to this rule other than a written confirmation stating otherwise from the Director William Gray.
Vouchers are exclusively for goods or services provided by Rio Prestige UK Ltd
Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash
Refunds are not permitted on voucher sales
Vouchers may not be exchanged for smaller denominations
The validity of the voucher may not be extended
Expired vouchers will not be replaced
Rio Prestige UK Ltd are not liable for any lost, damaged or stolen vouchers
